    Capleath is a design studio tool for footwear professionals. We collect only what we need to make the product work and we do not sell your data — ever.

Capleath ("we", "our", "the Studio") is a colour and material visualisation platform built for the leather footwear industry. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

We collect information in the following ways:

Account data — name and email address when you register or sign in
Usage data — how you interact with the Studio (tools used, session length, features accessed)
Design files — shoe templates, colour palettes, and renders you create inside the Studio
Technical data — browser type, IP address, device information for diagnostics
Feedback — any suggestions or messages you voluntarily send us

We do not collect payment card details directly — all billing is handled by our payment processor.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide, maintain, and improve the Capleath Studio
To save and restore your design work across sessions
To send product updates and important notices (you can opt out)
To diagnose bugs and improve performance
To respond to your support requests or feedback

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for sensitive data. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Your design files belong to you. We do not use your designs for any commercial purpose without your explicit permission.

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

Service providers — hosting, analytics, payment processing, under strict data agreements
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights
